Exploring the Impossibly Smart 2019 Nissan Maxima

The highly anticipated 2019 Nissan Maxima will soon make its world debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The Maxima is a stylish sedan featuring a refreshed exterior with updated safety tech. Although, the 2019 Nissan Maxima has not yet been revealed, here is what we know as of now:

The exterior boasts:

·       Updated Headlights and fog lights with LED Lighting

·       More Angular Vmotion front grille

·       Updated front bumper

The new Nissan Maxima will come with Safety Shield 360, which is a suite of six different safety systems including advanced driver assist and other common features including:

- Automatic Emergency Braking (with Pedestrian Detection): This camera technology will track vehicles and pedestrians in your vicinity and provide visual warnings so that you can apply your brakes to keep from hitting someone or reduce the impact of a collision, should this happen.

- Lane Departure Warning: This feature will alert the driver that he/she is drifting with a warning

- Rear Cross Traffic Alert: This is helpful when you are backing out of a parking spot and warns driver of vehicles that may be approaching

- High Beam Assist: Headlights will automatically change to low beam when it detects an oncoming vehicle and switches back once they pass

- Blind Spot Warning: It will pot vehicles that are currently in your blind spot, usually the right or left side

- Rear Automatic Braking: Assists driver when backing up so that they don’t hit another vehicle, person or object

- Nissan announced last month that this safety technology package will come standard in all of their top selling models by the year 2021, including the 2019 Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport and Altima.

The 2019 Nissan Maxima will be available at McDavid Nissan for purchase in December 2018. We’d love to work with you so come in and test drive a new Maxima or pre-owned Nissan.
